We received many wonderful fabrics and sewing items for our ‘Material Aid’ collection.
Thank you very much to Galston Bendigo Bank for allowing us to have a collection container there, and to all those who donated items. Our Christmas Party in December was a most enjoyable day. We welcomed Sandra Scolly who was visiting our district from England. Sandra told us about women’s groups in England, such as the Women’s Institute. We also welcomed our past member, Audrey Ritchie. Our Autumn/Winter Fashion Parade will be held at The Galston Club on Tuesday 20th March, more details next month. Our first meeting for 2012 will be on Wednesday 8th February. We will enjoy morning tea at 9.30am, and activities for the coming year will be discussed. Lunch will be followed by our business meeting.
